Dania Uritskiy, LICSW
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I obtained my BSW from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and my MSW from the University of Maryland Baltimore in Baltimore, MD.
Outside of the therapy space I am an avid nature lover, love family, cooking a good meal, connecting with animals, and fitness.
Naturally I am curious about others experiences and provide clients with a sense of grounding. I am humbled to be trusted with starting our partnership as we embark on this journey of self-exploration, and aim to provide a clear and empathetic connection.
My therapy philosophy
My approach to therapy is rooted in relational psychodynamic and attachment-based work, with a strong emphasis on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns in relationships, improve communication, and build emotional safety—both in connection with others and within themselves. I support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions, including perinatal mental health concerns such as pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, identity shifts, and the emotional impact of becoming a parent. Through a strengths-based, multicultural, and trauma-informed lens, therapy is a space to reflect, process past experiences, develop boundaries, and cultivate greater self-compassion and resilience while deepening one’s relationship to self and others.
Therapy work should reflect all aspects of life, and I want to support every person on their personal journey through connection.
